Outreach

At Tandaza Trust, our outreach initiatives focus on uplifting vulnerable individuals and communities through compassionate support and service. Recently, we celebrated a significant breakthrough when two sisters under our care secured jobs, enabling them to care for themselves. This achievement underscores the strength of community and fellowship within our T-group members, who have provided love and support throughout their journey. Additionally, we assisted students from Ark and Kileleshwa Primary with admission requirements for high school, providing partial fee payments, uniforms, and essential supplies.

In our commitment to family reunification, we helped a young boy who ran away from home in Naivasha return to his grandmother, ensuring he could resume his education. We also reached out to a 70-year-old woman among the Mama Fua, providing her with rent and food support as we explore sustainable solutions to improve her situation. Our efforts highlight the importance of addressing immediate needs while fostering long-term empowerment.

Recently, we responded to a call for help from a group of refugees living on the streets near the UNHCR offices. Originating from Kakuma Refugee Camp, this group included individuals from various countries, including Somalia and D.R.C. We provided essential support, including food, temporary housing, bedding, and clothing, while assisting with referrals for medical intervention and status alignment. These efforts not only address immediate needs but also build trust and relationships that pave the way for lasting change and empowerment
